Testing Expectations

Students attending Spring 2021 graduation ceremonies are required to take a COVID-19 antigen or PCR test through the University of Arizona testing system within 72 hours of the beginning of their ceremony. Students must also have a negative result prior to the event or have an approved exemption (e.g. recent past infection or COVID-19 vaccination).

Students who are two weeks post their second or final dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and have uploaded their vaccination record to Campus Health will not be required to test.

Students who have had a positive PCR or antigen test result between 14 and 90 days prior to the ceremony will not be required to test. If the positive test result is from an off-campus testing location, documentation must be uploaded to Campus Health and verified.

Students who do not have a negative test result within the stated time frame will not be allowed entry.
