Undergraduate Student Ceremony
Please join us on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at 9:00a at McKale Center for the Undergraduate Student Commencement Ceremony.

Attention Students:  To promote a ceremony that is dignified, safe and respectful of all please note the following changes to Commencement expectations:

• Undergraduate candidates should bring (but do not wear) caps and gowns to their processional staging area.  Caps and gowns will be carried to McKale Center in processional and graduates will dress in regalia prior to entering McKale Center floor.  All graduates will be screened by security for prohibited items prior to dressing in cap and gown.
• Please be aware that the audience will be unable to hand graduates any items once in McKale Center.
• The throwing of any item will result in the immediate removal from the ceremony.  Bringing a prohibited item to the screening location in McKale Center will result in the immediate removal from the ceremony.
• Please do not bring purses and bags to Bear Down Gym or the McKale Center, there will be no place to leave them once the processional starts.
• Please arrive in Bear Down Gym and Gittings Gym no later than 8:15am.  The processional will leave Bear Down and Gittings Gym at 8:30am.
