Ceremony Information

This Day Is For You

Commencement is more than a ceremony. It's a time to remember what led you to this moment. Let's celebrate how far you've come and where your Wildcat journey will take you next.

Join us on Friday, May 10th at Arizona Stadium for an experience unlike any other.

#BearDownGrad is the official Arizona Commencement hashtag. Make sure you tag all your photos to become a part of the excitement!

Check out these opportunities to be part of the ceremony. Deadline is Friday, May 3rd.

Where to Go and How to Check In

QR code tickets will be emailed to your CatMail address the day before Commencement. Printed tickets are not provided. You are expected to have tickets ready for scanning upon arrival. Bring your CatCard or government-issued I.D.

Graduates can enter Arizona Stadium beginning at 5:30pm. You must arrive by 6:30pm to guarantee your seat. Seating will be divided into student and guest sections on a first-come, first-served basis.

Undergraduates should enter through 4th and Vine, behind the Main Library, where you will check through ticketing and security before heading onto the field.

Master's and Doctoral students should arrive by 6:30pm at the Davis Sports Center, just east of Arizona Stadium, to process your entrance onto the field.

To request accommodations or ask questions regarding your processional route, seating, or ASL interpretation, please visit the Disability Resource Center.

What to Wear

Regalia is required for this event, and can be purchased at the Bookstore

High heels are discouraged, we recommend wedges or flats. Although what you wear under your gown is up to you, we encourage breathable clothing and comfortable shoes.

No large bags, backpacks, or open containers will be permitted into the stadium. Only small clutch bags, approximately the size of a hand, are permitted, after being searched.

What to Know

We will provide water for every student. Sealed water bottles or empty containers are permitted into the stadium and refill stations will be available.

Photographers will be on site at student check-in, but it is your responsibility to meet with them for a chance to take a portrait prior to entering the field. All portraits taken will be available for purchase from the photographers who will contact you after the ceremony.

All graduating students are still held to the same expectations and standards outlined in the Student Code of Conduct. Any individuals who violate these policies will be asked to leave.

Please be advised that the celebration will include loud music, fireworks, strobe lights, fog effects as well as fast paced video content on large led screens. While these may occur at any time during the event, those with sensitivities are especially advised to consider exiting the stadium during the recessional when the platform party leaves the stage.

Your Guests

Tickets are NOT required for guests. All gates open at 6:30pm. Guest seating is on a first-come, first-served basis, and we recommend arriving early to secure the best viewing experience.

Prior to the ceremony, choose a location to meet your guests once the event is over. Graduates and guests are encouraged to exit and move to areas away from the stadium after the ceremony.

Please remind your guests that they must abide by the clear bag policy as well as game day venue policies. No balloons, large signs, or pets that are not service animals are allowed in Arizona Stadium.

Free parking is available at all University surface lots and garages. Visit our Parking and Disability Access page for more detailed information, stadium seating and parking maps.
