Highest Honor for Wildcats
Every year, the University recognizes a group of Wildcats for their contributions and achievements to the world. The University of Arizona Dean of Students Office takes great pride in our Wildcats.
The University awards honorary degrees to recognize achievements within the academic environment and in the world at large.
These degrees honor individuals for their contribution to the University of Arizona, the state, the nation, or the world.
Approved honorary degrees include Doctor of Fine Arts, Doctor of Humane Letters, Doctor of Humanities, Doctor of Laws, Doctor of Letters, Doctor of Music, and Doctor of Science.
Senior and Provost Awards
In addition to honorary degrees, the University of Arizona recognizes a select number of students for their contributions and achievements. These awards are presented by the Dean of Students Office and celebrated at Commencement in Spring.
