Small-Setting Ceremony

Convocations are ceremonies in which students are acknowledged in a smaller setting. These are designed and coordinated by each individual school or college.

Celebrate Your College

Join hundreds of students and families across the University of Arizona campus as they come together to celebrate their graduation in events designed to highlight Wildcats by college. These are ceremonies separate from Commencement.

Yes! Students are invited to attend as many ceremonies as eligible. Commencement is an annual event taking place every May. Fall and winter graduates are invited to attend the Commencement either prior to or following their graduation.

Students do not receive diplomas at their convocation or celebration ceremonies. Official diplomas are mailed 2 to 3 weeks after your degree is posted.
