Q: What can I bring with me to the Ceremony?
A: For guest safety, no containers, large bags, backpacks, or parcels are permitted inside the McKale Center.

A: Go to Academic Departments, Schools and Colleges to check your College.
Q: Does my family need tickets to attend?
A: No. Tickets are not needed to attend commencement, but you still have to RSVP for your guests. However, your college convocation may require tickets. Check with your college.
Q: Do I need to wear regalia to the ceremony (cap & gown)?
Q: Where can I buy my cap and gown?
A: Caps, gowns, tassels, and hoods are available at the U of A Bookstores, where you can also purchase diploma frames, gifts for grads, and custom-printed announcements. For more information, visit the Cap and Gown Information page.
Q: Where can I get announcements printed?
A: Custom-printed announcements are available at the U of A Bookstores, where you can also purchase diploma frames, caps, gowns, hoods, and tassels.
Q: Will pictures be taken at the ceremony?
A: Photographers from Graduation Images will be available near the assembly area.
Q: How long is the ceremony?
A: The ceremony is projected to be 75 minutes long from start to finish.
